My Coaching Style
I help clients manage stress, overcome self-sabotage, and communicate effectively, focusing on mental health, sobriety (if needed), and overall well-being. Beyond goal-setting and skill development, I support clients in self-awareness and provide insights to help them build meaningful, authentic lives. My ultimate aim is to foster independence, security, and fulfillment.
OTHER FAQs
Do you only coach women?
I coach all gender identities and non gender identities. I have a lot of experience with the LGBTQIA+ Community.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is more action oriented. Therapy is about healing the past and coaching is about healing and moving forward in the present. The best way I can describe the difference is that therapy is you sitting across from the therapist talking about the “work”and coaching is siting next to each other and doing the “work”. I also do a lot of accountability and texting outside of sessions.
How long are sessions?
One hour minimum. more than 2 hours (at a time) is offered at a discounted rate.

Do you take insurance?
No.
Do you take clients virtually?
Yes. Unless I notice a client is not working effectively virtually which can be the case for some of the younger clients.
What are the ages you work with?
I work with all ages but specialize in young adults between the ages of 13-30. I got sober young and started working on my mental health in my early 20s so I have a lot of insight to offer clients of this age.

Why do you need coaching?
Talk therapy is wonderful and has changed my life, I am finishing up Grad School to be a LMFT and believe in this work. Coaching + therapy is actually an amazing combination because coaching really gets into the action part of things. Talking about something 1x a week wont get you results unless you are putting things into action. This is where I come in, giving you skills and holding you accountable while I support you in real time as you face the things that are holding you back.
It is not a requirement to have a therapist to work with me; however, it is suggested.

What are Sessions like?
It really just depends on what level of functioning the client is at and what we are working on together at the time. Our meeting type can change session to session depending on what needs to get done that week.
Each session will consist of getting organized, motivation, encouragement and accountability along with helping clients with practical skills such as time management, self regulating, communication and problem solving.
sometimes that means we are going on a hike, sometimes we meet at a coffee shop, sometimes its running client errands and others its meal prepping. The great thing about coaching is that it is completely tailored to the client. Getting into action together is extremely powerful because it can push clients out of their comfort zone while feeling supported. This creates long lasting change.
